Silver Threads group event - Held at Oregon Senior Center Special tunes will be chosen for this delightful senior group that meets monthly at the Oregon Area Senior Center. The entertainment portion of the event (starting at 12:45 pm) is open to the public. Free show; however donations to offset expenses are welcome. |

The Brink Lounge *** This show is ON!! In lieu of our usual THURSDAY spot, this month we are playing on a Saturday. Note the 8 pm start time! NO COVER!*** Top Shelf DUO is thrilled to be playing on Saturday June 27 at our favorite local venue! (Normally we play Thursdays but weeknight music is on hold for now.) The owners of The Brink Lounge have been so welcoming and supportive of my music in its various forms since they opened about 15 years ago. They are tremendous patrons of local music. Let's show them some love as they begin to open up! Little Bohemia Lodge Road gig! I'll be supporting Doug Cleary, adding bass and backing vocals. Also on deck will be my colleague from Top Shelf, Alan Maslowski, on the cutest little drumset you ever saw - a suitcase kit! We will post pics. Doug sings and plays guitar, offering up the likes of Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Eagles, America, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, and many more great singer/songwriters...plus some originals. He says: "If you happen to be in northern WI come to Little Bohemia for dinner and give me listen in the bar area before dining and then come back into the bar after for the biggest ice cream desert drink you have ever seen." Doug plays regularly at Little Bohemia so check him out any time you're vacationing in the northwoods. I've known Doug for years and am happy to have the chance to sit in. |
